The Vaqs dropped a squeeker 5-4. DeLeon was named to the All-American Team for his outstanding tennis in 2006.    GCC Hakop Tovasian, playing in the number 2 slot serving to his opponent. Hakop was named the co-Most Valuable Player in the Western State Conference   GCC #3 Norik Otugbiryan ready to deliver a backhand to his opponent.  GCC Craig Strazzeri, playing in the number 4 slot is about to deliver an ace to his opponent. Named co-coach of the year in tennis of the Western State Conference by his peers, coach Bob MacKay has been developing a tennis program at the College that started to reap titles this season. Bob has the knack to get a player to lift his game up several notches and stretch for the win. His achievment this season; coaching the number one singles player in California's Community College's
