Hakop was named the co-Most Valuable Player in the Western State Conference   GCC #3 Norik Otugbiryan ready to deliver a backhand to his opponent.   GCC Craig Strazzeri, playing in the number 4 slot is about to deliver an ace to his opponent.   GCC Munemitsu Kado, playing in the number five slot was quick enough to take the first game.  GCC Michael Lee, playing in the number six slot eyes the incoming serve from his Occidental College opponent. Named co-coach of the year in tennis of the Western State Conference by his peers, coach Bob MacKay has been developing a tennis program at the College that started to reap titles this season. Bob has the knack to get a player to lift his game up several notches and stretch for the win. His achievment this season; coaching the number one singles player in California's Community College's
