Winner of both the Southern California regional singles title and the California Community College singles title, Dylan Kim was named to the all-Western State Conference first team as the No.one singles player. He is leaving a legacy at Glendale College that is going to be hard to match.

The teams of Taoatao and Arutyunyan and Strazzeri and Michael Maarup were both named No. 2 team on the all-Western State Conference Second Team.

State singles champion Dylan Kim finishes one of his rapid fire serves. He went undefeated in 30 matches and had an opponent average of one and a half points scored in a game.

One of the best backhands in Southern California comes with Norik Otuzbiryan. His concentration and delivery make for success.

Derek DerMegerdichan, about to return a forehand is a sophmore that made a great contribution to last years and this years winning teams.

Craig Strazzeri finishing a forehand ground stroke played both singles and doubles and was named to the all-Western State Conference Second team in the No. six singles spot.

Dylan Kim finished the season undefeated in singles and he and partner Greg Arutyunyqn got to the state semi-finals. His singles title was the first in Glendale College sports history. According to Coach Bob MacKay "A pleasure to coaxch".

Greg Arutyunyan was the doubles partner of Matthew Taoatao and as a team they were selected on the second team all-Western State Conference.

Dererk DerMegerdichan was a consistant sparkplug for the Vaqueros, winning matches when they really counted. He played well in singles or doubles.

Craig Strazzeri, who was also named with his doubles partner Michael Maarup the No. two team on the second team all-Western State Conference.

Juan Chiriboga, a freshman is expected to be in the upper level of players next season when the Vaqueros go after the Western State Conference crown.

Named to the all-Western State Conference second team at No. four in singles tells the story of the athletic ability of Matthew Taoatao. He and his doubles partner, Greg Arutyunyan, were also the nunber two doubles team on the second team all-WSC.

Michael Maarup, a preferred doubles player on the Vaqueros team was named to the all-Western State Conference second team in doubles with partner Craig Strazzeri as the No. two team.

A freshman on this years exciting Vaquero team, Steve Ortega picked up a good deal of experience and will be looking forward to using it next season for Coach Bob MacKay.

Sarkis Terteryan teamed up with Michael Maarup in a few doubles matches but is really looking forward to next season and a run at the Western State Conference.
