Standing L-R Armine Balayan, Monique Palmera, Meldia Hacobian.  Miyuki Yokozuka has a natural two hand back hand and is about to send it back to her opponent. She was a singles and doubles winner at the Western State Conference Tournament play in Ventura.   The 2008 Lady's Team were 5-8 overall for the season and 3-7 in Western State Conference. Three players advanced in the WSC Tournament in singles along with two doubles teams.   Monique Palmera has her eye on the ball ready for the return during practice at the college. Monique was a winner in singles and doubles matches against Santa Barbara City College.  Kenia Aguilar is all business in her approach to tennis. She had wins in singles and doubles with armine Balayan against Santa Barbara City College Armine Balayan loves the game of tennis as you see by her smile. She was a doubles partner of Kenia Aguilar and they were winners against Santa Barbara City College in their WSC match.
